Centerville Pediatric Dentistry is excited to bring you Brush, Book, Bed, an initiative by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Tooth decay is the number one chronic, infectious disease affecting children in the United States. Our interactive program teaches children how to brush, floss, and make healthy food choices to keep their teeth healthy and strong. We emphasize the importance of a consistent bedtime routine, incorporating literacy, for the overall development of each child.
The Newport Aquarium’s WAVE Foundation is bringing sharks to the library! Real, live sharks will join us for a program demystifying common misconceptions about sharks and talking about shark conservation! Space is limited, so please indicate your interest on the Shark Sunday Form (found at wrightlibrary.org) before 9pm on Friday, May 20. Online registration will be available starting April 22.
The Alhambra Dance Troupe brings to the library fiery, dynamic, and joyous belly dancing! Appropriate for all ages, with audience participation encouraged! You’ll leave the program humming a tune, tapping your knee, and maybe even moving your core!
John and Deborah DeBoer from the Miami County Park District will perform “Keepers of the Land,” a Native flute program. Families are invited to sing along, and children ages 8+ may play along on provided drums!
