Together Oakwood Project- Community Creation Day

Come to the library to take inspiration from the beautiful canvases and moving stories of the Together Oakwood Project. Paint and small canvases will be provided so you can express your response or tell your story of Oakwood positivity. Computers will also be made available if you prefer to express yourself in the written word. Selected canvases and text submissions will be added to the Together Oakwood Project—on display at the library for years to come.

Together Oakwood Project Canvases Due

2016 is proving to be a highly divisive year in national and local news. The Library is proud to be Open to All, a place of unity no matter what is going on in the wider world. This fall, we are reaching out to actively build unity through the Together Oakwood Project! The Library wants to hear from you about all that you love best about Oakwood—its heroes, its characters, its traditions, its goodness. What brings us together and makes us a better Oakwood? Let’s tell that story!
